Spandau Ballet have had 23 hit singles including True, Gold and Through The Barricades. They sold over 25 million records worldwide and have been awarded numerous multi-platinum awards. The band performed at the Live Aid concert at Wembley Stadium and played on Band Aid's Christmas classic 'Do They Know It's Christmas'.
In 1990 after the members of Spandau Ballet went their separate ways, Steve moved to Ibiza and discovered his love for club & dance music. During his 13 years on the island he worked with numerous musicians, producers and DJ’s and he was involved in various original productions & compilations. He joined forces with The Ministry of Sound’s Hed Kandi label as saxman for hire, performing regularly at live events with DJs across the globe.
In 2009 Spandau Ballet reunited and undertook the world wide ‘Reformation Tour’ including 3 sold out shows at the O2 Arena London. In October that year they released their new album ‘Once More’ with the title track co-written by Steve.
